Loving Room brings local performers and music lovers with a mission to provide intimate and inspiring experiences in beautiful cosy spaces. Because who doesn’t want to discover new locations and upcoming talent all in the same space at the same time?

Time: Doors open at 7:30pm and we start playing around 8:00pm.

Emerging in the Amsterdam jazz scene, Simone Don developed her unique sultry and edgy vocals with compelling melodies and infusions of neo soul, jazz and RnB. She sings about her adventures and personal growth, reflects upon the world and seduces you to get carried away in her lust for the good life and rich fantasy, with a bitter humorous edge of reality. Her most important influences are Erykah Badu, Hiatus Kaiyote and Amy Winehouse. She performs with her band or solo and produces music.

In June 2024 Simone Don released her single Got A Feeling, a song about discovering music and playfulness in good company. The song combines a sturdy groove with soulful vocals and backing choirs that symbolize joy and togetherness. It has been placed on editorial playlists on Apple Music and Spotify (40k+ streams) and is getting airplay on Dutch national radio stations NPO2 and NPO Soul and Jazz. In 2025 Simone Don will release her debut EP ‘Real and Surreal Escapades,’ in which she shares a raw documentation of her thoughts and lived experiences and her day dreams, with an added touch of magical realism. The EP will take you on a dynamic journey through surprising rhythms, infectious melodies and lyrical painting.

Simone Don has been performing with her band in various cities in The Netherlands and abroad. After her single release Got A Feeling, she toured with her band in Amsterdam, The Hague, Paris and Barcelona, ending the tour at Landjuweel Festival at Ruigoord. From swaying and dynamic soulful grooves to stomping funk and disco beats, Simone Don and her band developed an engaging show and repertoire with songs that audience members continue to sing long after the concert.

With a curated lineup of talented musicians, this jam session promises electrifying performances that will have you grooving all night long. Whether you're a musician eager to join the jam or someone who simply loves to soak in the vibe, there’s a place for you here.

All skill levels are welcome to step in and create magic together, while the audience is invited to dance, move, or simply relax with a cocktail in hand.
